Comedian Kapil Sharma, who is currently facing the ire of the Bharatiya Janata Party(BJP), Shiv Senaand Raj Thackeray’s Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) over the bribe allegations he made against Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) officials, has now insisted that he just “voiced his concern over the corruption he faced” and had no intention and did not “blame any political party.”
The MNS had earlier in the day threatened Sharma to prove these bribe allegations against the BMC officials or face action.
Kapil Sharma has claimed that, he was asked for a bribe by a Bmc official for his new office that is currently under construction.
Manohar Pawar, the Bmc vigilance chief engineer and Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis have also responded to Sharma and assured that they will look into the matter.
While Pawar asked Sharma to make a formal complaint and name the officer who had demanded bribe from him, the Chief Minister responded to his tweet asking for the name.
