The 2016 Sunday Time Rich List for young sportsmen in Britain is out and without much surprises England and Manchester United captain Wayne Rooney has topped it.

While last year, the footballer’s fortune was $72 million, this year he amassed a total of $82 million making him the richest sportsman in Britain to be 30 or under. He is followed by Murray brothers, Andy and Jamie who have $58 million and Irishman Rory McIlory stand third with $56 million.

While six other premier league players are in the top ten list, this splendid Englishman is way ahead of others.
