On the final day of the 7th Asian Indoor Athletics Championship held in Doha, Indian athletics team finished the tournament with 7 medals. The haul includes one gold, three silver and three bronze medals. Its a proud moment for all the Indians.
Prem Kumar won the silver medal in men’s long jump while defending men’s shot put championship, Omprakash Karhana won bronze medal on Sunday. In overall rankings men’s team secure eighth spot while women’s team secure sixth spot.
It was only women’s team which brought India’s only gold medal from the 2016 Asian Indoors. We just Wang to congratulate the team for their victory.
