The International Cricket Council has confirmed that Sri Lankan opener batsman, Kusal Perera has been provisionally suspended for the charges of doping against him under the Anti-Doping Code of ICC.
The sample of the batsman Kusal Perera provided in out-of-competition test, which was conducted on 12 October 2015, was found to contain the existence of a Prohibited Substance (in the group of non-Specified Materials), and, as required under the ICC Anti-Doping Code of ICC.
The issue will now be deal with in agreement with the corrective process set down in the Code, and until such time as the penal process is resolve.
