Johnson & Johnson, the well-known pharmaceutical company has to pay $72 million in a case. The case against this company was filed by a woman’s family, who said that the Johnson & Johnson’s powder and other talc product had caused her ovarian cancer.
Before Jacqueline Fox died of cancer, she said that the talc was the cause of her cancer. This verdict was given by a Missouri Jury.
Fox had been using the product for more than 35 years fro female hygiene. It is being said that the company was aware of the dangers the product caused and yet, it failed to notify customers.
