J.Jayalalithaa’s niece, Deepa Jayakumar will soon make her entry in politics

J Jayalalithaa demise came as a shock for all of us, especially for the Tamil Nadu’s people. Jayalalithaa aka Amma was one of the best politicians we people can have. She has done lot of good things for Tamil Nadu’s people. Now J Jayalalithaa’s lookalike niece Deepa Jayakumar today laid claim to her political legacy saying she plans to contest elections and “follow in her footsteps”, but saved a bigger announcement for the February 24 birth anniversary of the former Chief Minister, who died last month. Jayalalithaa’s niece is too copy of her. Deepa’s face resemble to Jayalalithaa a lot and we expect that Jayalalithaa’s qualities too embedded in Deepa.

Deepa Jayakumar make her entry in politics clear

Deepa has not only given the hint of her entry in politics but she herself confirmed the news. Ms Jayakumar, addressed her first press conference on a day the ruling AIADMK marks the birth centenary of its founder and Jayalalithaa’s mentor, MG Ramachandran and was quoted saying that “I am starting a new journey in my life today, I plan to embark on my political journey at an appropriate time.”

She also took a dig at Jayalalithaa’s close friend Sasikala Natarajan, elected by the AIADMK as their new boss weeks after the Chief Minister’s death on December 5. 42- year- old journalist further added, “I cannot accept anyone else in Jayalalithaa’s position.”

Whether she will join the AIADMK?

A section in the party has projected her as the counterweight to Sasikala Natarajan, who has emerged as Jayalalithaa’s all-powerful replacement after decades in the shadows. In posters over the past weeks, MsDeepa was totally resembling to Jayalalithaa wearing the sari and waiving her hands to supporters. “My entry into politics can’t be stopped,” DeepaJayakumar had said just weeks after her aunt Jayalalithaa’s death.

We too are looking forward for the big announcements that will make by Deepa on Anma’s birth anniversary.
