International Trade Fair 2018: What all you can see there?
International Trade Fair 2018 has already begun in the national capital. This is the second time when the fair was organised at a reduced scale owing to major redevelopment work. The Fair is now open for everyone. Notably, it is the 38th edition of International Trade fair. The fair managed to attract more than 30,000 visitors on the first day. International Trade Fair was only open for business visitors for the first four days.
Exhibitions are set up only in six halls this year. Also, the tickets for International Trade Fair 2018 is are not available at Pragati Maidan. You have to book them online or you have to buy them from metro stations. Apart from it, this year, visitors would only be allowed to enter from Gate 1, 8 and 10.

Traders are representing 18 states at the fair. People are giving mix response about the fair this year. Notably, traders from seven countries, including China, Vietnam, Hong Kong, and Korea have also set up their stalls at the International Trade Fair 2018.
However, visitors were expecting more attractions. Due to less space, it couldn’t happen. Well, modern look of Assam Pavilion at ongoing International Trade Fair is able to draw a huge crowd. The theme of the International Trade Fair 2018 is – ” Rural Enterprises of India.” And keeping in tune with the theme, the pavilion has displayed products like Assam Silk, traditional jewelry etc. Live demonstration of Muga is another big attraction at Assam Pavilion. The Bamboo wood flooring and bamboo products have been highly appreciated by the visitors. Apart from it, the cultural evening also took place and it was a jampacked event.
The International Trade Fair had started on November 14 and it would end on November 27. So, do not forget to visit. Space has been reduced but you would not get disappointed. Do not forget to book your tickets in advance.
