The Indian and Chinese personnels had a ceremonial Border personal meeting (BPMs) on the occasion of the Chinese “Mid Autumn Festival”.
On Friday the ceremonial BPMs were conducted at the Chinese side in Chushul and Daulat Beg Oldie Sector (DBO) in the Eastern Ladakh, a Defence spokesman stated.
The Indian personnels were lead by Brigadier R S Raman and Col B S Uppal, while the Chinese personnels by their Senior Colonel Fan Jun and Colonel Song Zong Li respectively, he added.

The occasion was celebrated by exchanging greetings, good wishes and by saluting the National flag of China by the members of both sides.
Following this a ceremonial address by the leaders of both nations and restating the mutual desire of improving relations at the border was held.
A wide cultural programme showcasing the Chinese culture and traditional grandeur was also organised, the Spokesman added.
Both nations also sought to build on treaties and agreements signed between the two governments to maintain the peace and tranquility along the LAC, the spokesman concluded.
