Second semifinal of Champions Trophy today
The second semifinal of ICC Champions Trophy between India and Bangladesh will be played today in the Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. Team India is seen on a better side in this match by the experts, but Bangladesh is also no less. Bangladesh is known for its match turnings. Mostly, big teams think Bangladesh as a weak team, and then pay a heavy loss for that. According to records, India is a team which can easily win this match but no one can deny that even Bangladesh has defeated India in the past. Cricket is a game of turns and twists and in that case Bangladesh should not be expected less or weaker. Indian team will also not treat this team as weaker and will have some strategy to defeat it.
The Indian team is on its right path till now. The Indian players are in their form and would have been working on some strategies to defeat Bangladesh. Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma have given a powerful start to the Indian team so far in this tournament. Along with Kohli, Yuvraj Singh is present for the team on number 4 and play powerful strokes. Then there is former Indian captain, Mahendra Singh Dhoni as the best finisher. Even the bowling is far better than before of the Indian team. The combination of fast bowlers and pacers are doing a great job.
After performing their best against South Africa, the Indian team is full of confidence. They will try to maintain the same form when they will be on grounds against Bangladesh.
The way Bangladesh played in the league matches and defeated New Zealand is worth commendable. No team should think that Bangladesh is on a weaker side. It was this win against New Zealand which made Bangladesh enter the semifinals and it will try its best to defeat India and reach the finals against Pakistan.
The main bowler of Bangladesh is Mustazafijur Rehman, but he was not able to show his magic till now in this tournament. Rehman is famous for his variations in shorter formats. When he is not in his form, then the pressure is on other bowlers. He will try his best to make a comeback in this match and play his best against India. Even Taskin and Rubel have got pace in their bowling.
