India defeated Netherland with 3-2 in a penalty shoot-out match to clinch the bronze medal in the Hockey World League (HWL).
Mirco Pruijser in ninth minute of the game and Nicolas Van Der Schoot in 25th minute made it 2-0 lead for the visitors but Ramandeep Singh in 39th minute and Rupinderpal Singh (47th) brought India on equal scoreline.
Ramandeep scored again in the 51st minute to make it 3-2 before Mink van der Weerden scored the third goal of the match.
Rupinder scored fourth goal from a penalty stroke and the goal of Akashdeep Singh help India to lead after which Van Der Weerden scored twice to force the match to the penalty shoot-out. In the penalty shoot-out India made 3 and Netherland 2 goals.
