“You want to lose weight and a summer is the best time to lose weight. After all, your body needs more liquids and you can get away with eating less. Your Clothes needs an overhaul in the summers. Light colors and cotton which is easy on the skin are what you should wear in summers.
1. Go easy on carbs – Fruits are available plenty in summers. Watermelons, muskmelons, mangoes are available in plenty in summers. Hog on the melons. You can go easy on the mangoes though because they are high in sugar content.
2. Drink more liquids – Juices, Nimbu Pani, Coconut water – The intake of all these needs to be upped in summers. However, you should not consume colas and drinks that are rich in sugar. Alcohol is a strict no-no and Tea/Coffee should be restricted to minimum.
3. Early to Rise, Early to jog – makes a woman healthier. We tend to sleep light in summers and tend to get up early. Use the time and go jogging. You will feel better and will burn of the extra calories.
4. Meditate – Stress Buster anyone? Take in deep breaths or chant a mantra. Do this twice for about 15-20 minutes each time. Not just your loved ones, but everybody will ask you the secret of your glowing face.
