Grandpaa Rishi Kapoor defended his grandson Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi, here is what he told twitter trolls
It’s a celebration time for Khans and Kapoors as Kareena Kapoor Khan finally delivered her baby on 20th of December. Taimur Ali Khan! That’s what Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan chose to name their baby boy. However, name was not widely accepted and hence was trolled by many on Twitter. Now, some 24 hours of the name being hotly debated, Kareena’s uncle Rishi Kapoor has reminded Twitter that it’s nobody’s business to decide the name of Kareena’s business. Grandpaa Rishi Kapoor defended his grandson Taimur Ali Khan and gave clear cut message to the people to mind their business.
Rishi Kapoor tweeted “Why are people so bothered what the parents want to name their child please? Mind your business; it’s got nothing to do with you. Parents wish!” He is the first family person who spoke on this controversial matter. In fact, reacting to another tweet that said that Taimur, the Mughal invader, had committed great atrocities, Rishi hit back on Twitter, writing, “Alexander and Sikandar were no saints. They are common names in the world. Apna kaam karo na tum. Tumko kya takleef hai?” He further added that “You mind your f*****g business what my ancestors must be feeling. Apna kaam karo.” Rishi Kapoor who is brother of Randhir Kapoor first took to Twitter and extends his thanks to those who pour their wishes on the couple.
Politician Omar Abdullah too came in support of Saifeena
Not only Uncle Rishi Kapoor supported Kareena and Saif even Politician Omar Abdullah came in support of the couple. Saif and Kareena’s fans opined that the name was actually of Turkish origin and means “brave king” or strong “like iron”.
Former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah’s Twitter comments have brought some sense.
Congratulating Saif and Kareena, the politician wrote, “The only people who get to decide a baby’s name are the parents of said baby & the ones they ask. Why should opinion of the rest matter?” He added, “So congrats to Saif & Kareena and a long happy life to their baby son. May #TaimurAliKhan have a happy & healthy life…”
