Google Tez App is available on Google Android Play Store: Here is how to use it
Google has finally launched its UPI based payments app called Tez and it is offering some exciting deals to its customers. Notably, the app is now available on the Google Play Store. The launch event was conducted in New Delhi. The launch event was also attended by Finance Minister Arun Jaitley. The app is available for all the android users but is still unavailable for iOS users.
UPI is a system of quick and easy payment transfers from one bank account to another bank account. Users of UPI apps can just use their phone numbers to make direct payments. There is no need of account number, IFSC code and such details.
How to use it and get a reward?
Google Tez App is similar to Indian government’s BHIM app. The app supports 7 languages including English, Hindi, Telegu, Kannada, Bengali, Tamil, Marathi, and Gujarati. Users can anytime change language according to their preferences.
Users can use this app from the Google Play store, but in order to get started, they need to have same phone number linked to their account number.
One can also sync it with their Google account, but here too your phone number is required first. After this, you have set up Google Pin, a lock system, which will be required to whenever to open the application. However, this pin will not be required during the transactions.
You can allow Google Tez App to access your phone contacts, it will help you to make payments (Pay Options) or you can ask your friends for money using (Request option) .
Now, let’s talk about the launch offer, Google Tez is offering Rs.51 to users if they invite a friend and he or she uses the app. You can invite as many people but the offer is limited till 1 April 2018, and Rs. 9,000 in one year.
