Google Doodle tells a story of a fox on the occasion of Earth Day

Google Doodle

Today on the Earth Day Google uses its Doodle to send a significant message to encourage people across the world to be more environmental friendly. Earth is the densest planet in the Solar System and it is known as the largest of the four terrestrial planets. Earth is the only planet in the Universe which is known to harbour life and was formed 4.54 billion years ago. Earth is 70% covered with water and 30% with land. Earth day is celebrated to mark the significance and beauty of our planet.

Google celebrates Earth day and came up with a doodle which delivers the story of a fox who was in distress because of an ordeal he saw in his dream; an Earth which is highly polluted and affected by climate changes. In its dream the fox saw that icebergs were melted and dead plants all around. Horrified with the consequences of these changes he, along with his two friends Momo the cat and Google weather’s favourite frog makes few lifestyle changes in order to protect our mother Earth and overcome the threat

The Doodle has tried to show how little efforts such as planting trees, conserving electricity and using eco-friendly conveyance can contribute towards nurturing of our beautiful planet.

“I wanted to focus the Doodle on what an individual contributor can do for the environment. There’s a lot of distressing news about changes to our ecosystems, but it can be hard to know how to help as just one person. That’s why I wanted to create a story about individuals coming together to do something about it” Says Google doodler Sophie Diao.

You can click on the Doodle to find tips that can make a difference.

Each year Earth day is celebrated on 22 April across the World as a reminder for the people to promote conservation of the environment and make small changes to avoid huge changes in the future.

“Whatever you do today, we hope you are able to take a moment to savor and cherish this boundless stunning Earth that we inhabit” Google said.

The net giant has used this creative doodle to spread awareness to SAVE EARTH!
