The Google doodle is back with one of its amazing doodles. This time it is that of Dmitri Mendeleev, the Russian chemist and inventor who formulated the periodic law. Born on the 8th of February, 1834, Dmitri died at the age of 72 in Russia. The element number 101, mendelevium is named after him.
Dmitri was responsible for correctly placing the 62 elements based on their atomic mass. It is said that Dmitri came up with this whole idea of arranging the elements in a periodic table after he had a dream about it.
The google doodle is celebrating his 182nd birthday and has done so in a very creative way.
