Goa DGP has urged people to boycott Ae Dil Hai Mushkil, here is the reason
Karan Johar’s Ae Dil Hai Mushkil was released after facing a lot of mushkil (problem) because of the presence of Fawad Khan in the film. Though the film is getting good response, in fact it has broken the records of Sultan in overseas collection, but it seems that the film has to still face some more problems of its share. Goa DGP Muktesh Chander has urged Goa people to boycott the film but why ?
Here is why DGP has asked people to not watch the film?
He has appealed people to not watch the film for allegedly insulting the legendary singer Mohammad Rafi. In the film, his singing is compared to crying. In the film, Anushka Sharma says “Woh gaate kam rote zyada the na.” Not only DGP of Goa, Mohammad Rafi’s son had also objected about the same.
Goa DGP in a tweet said “Md Rafi was a great singer of India he doesn’t require any certificate from anyone and if you are his fan boycott this movie.” Shahid Rafi had earlier said that Karan Johar has insulted his father.
Rafi family has raised objections on the dialogue and they have said that it was not all required because it doesn’t have anything to do with the film’s plot.
The film was in talk ever since the Uri attack took place. The film had earlier faced protests from MNS due to the presence of Pak artists and notably , the protest was so strong that it had bought Kjo almost on knees ( one of biggest Producer of Indian cinema) . He had to upload a video to assure that he would not further cast any Pak artist in his film.
Ae Dil hai Mushkil is doing well, but we don’t know how many more mushkil (problem) it has to face in future?
