10 month old Simon is no more, here is all you need to know
Rabbits are cutest and are friendly animals.Ten-month-old Simon was expected to grow to become the world’s biggest rabbit. United Airlines was under fire again Wednesday after a huge rabbit named Simon died while hopping over from London to Chicago, where he was due to be picked up by a celebrity buyer. Rabbit was ten months only but his growth was more then it.
The valuable 90-centimetre (three-foot) long continental giant rabbit had previously been described as “fit as a fiddle”, and his death in the cargo section of a Boeing 767 comes as a mystery. Breeder Annette Edwards was quoted saying that “Something very strange has happened and I want to know what.” She further added that “Simon had a vet’s check-up three hours before the flight and was fit as a fiddle, I have sent rabbits all around the world and nothing like this has happened before.”
United Airlines expresses their grief on Simon’s death
Simon was no more in United Airlines and they expressed their grief as well. United Airlines said it was “saddened” to hear the news of Simon’s death. Ten-month-old Simon was expected to grow to become the world’s biggest rabbit, after his father Darius grew to 1.32 metres, Edwards said. The Airline was quoted saying, “The safety and well-being of all the animals that travel with us is of the utmost importance to United Airlines and our PetSafe team. We have been in contact with our customer and have offered assistance. We are reviewing this matter.”
