What all should be kept in mind as a Leader?
A leader is someone who influences a group of people towards attaining a particular goal. Promotion, well it sounds interesting isn’t? By the way do you know a promotion not only just comes with a salary hike or position upgradation, but it also brings a lot of responsibilities with it?
Well, there are few things that we do not learn in our college and school, in fact they all learnt with experience, and one such thing is being a ‘Leader’.
Leading a team is not an easy task. Dealing with different people, who have different aspirations, goals and priorities is itself a task.

So here are few things you should know to be a Leader:
- Keep it Transparent: Being a responsible employee of the company, now you must be engaged in a lot of planning and strategy work. But you should make sure that you share it with your team so that they get an idea what’s going on in the organization
- Appreciation is the key: When someone does a good work make sure you appreciate them for it. This will boost their morale and will further ensure good performance for their side
- Work on your existing skills : When someone moves to a senior level the main problem they face that how their previous skills and strengths can help them, but it is always advisable that one should work on his or her existing skills
- Accept Feedbacks and be ready for constructive criticism: As a leader sometimes it is okay to accept constructive criticism because help you to do better analysis of a situation. It will also improve your decision taking power
