In Thursday, South African pacer Dale Styen has passed a rigorous fitness test for massive test series against England.
Styen was told to do some high intensity fielding drills and asked to bowl at full tilt in Cape Town. Dale Styen is expected to be available for selection for the first test.
Dr. Mohammed Moosajee, team manager said, “Dale Styen had put a lot of work into his training and rehab since his return from India so we are happy to have him back from goring injury.”
He further said, “He was put through a thorough fitness test on Thursday by cape cobras physiotherapist, Shane Jabaar , which included two bowling spells at match intensity, fielding drill, sprints and agility test. He come through the test without any discomfort and will be available for selection for test match against England.”
