On Sunday the Versova police registered the FIR against the veteran actor, Nawazuddin Siddiqui. A 24-year-old woman claimed that the actor misbehaved with her. She lives in the same building where the actor’s residential place is i.e. Zohra Aghadi Housing Society in Andheri (West).
The incident occurred over a parking row at around 1 p.m when a youth was parking his motorcycle but the actor did not allow him and when the woman questioned him, the actor touched her inappropriately and pushed her away.
Satyanarayan Chaudhary, the Deputy Commissioner of Police told that the Versova police have asked the actor to be present in the police station on Monday morning in order to record his statement about the case.
The commissioner told that the FIR is over the parking row. He also denied to comment further and said that the matter is under investigation. Police also said that the letter has been sent by society to the actor to vacant the society’s compound space.
A case under the Indian Penal Code section 354 has been registered against the actor. The society on its letterhead asked the actor to vacant the society’s space, which is reserved for parking bikes and scooters.
Earlier the letter was sent on September15 2015 and was acknowledged by his bother on 18th September 2015. The actor is using the society’s space for his personal use.
