Festival of Navratri has ended today. This is one the beautiful Festival in Indian culture, where almost everyone keep fast for nine days. Well, our country India is known for its enriched culture and festivals.
During this entire nine days one will come across beautifully decorated temples and whole environment suddenly turns pure and devotional.
Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao offered a golden crown worth Rs.3.5 crore to Hindu goddess Bhadrakali in Warangal. Chief Minister was joined by his wife Shobha Rao and some cabinet colleagues, the chief minister presented the crown, weighing 11.7 kg, to the temple.
During this festival lot of devotees offer money, jewelry and many more things to the Goddess.
Offering specially made on the behalf of State Government
On the occasion of Devi Navarathrulu celebrations, the festival of nine sacred nights on which goddess is offered special prayers as part of the Dussehra festivities the offering was made on behalf of the state government .
Chief Minister of Telangana who is also known as KCR made the offering to fulfill the vow that he would present ornaments to various gods and goddesses in both the Telugu states, if a separate Telangana state was carved out of Andhra Pradesh.
On the specific orders from the State Government crown was made by GRT jewellers. The chief minister and his wife offered special prayers at the Bhadrakali temple.

Apart from the CM and his wife many other dignitaries, mark their presence in the ceremony. Telangana assembly Speaker Madhusudhana Chary, Deputy Chief Minister Kadiam Srihari, Endowments Minister A. Indrakaran Reddy and top officials also attended the ceremony.
