BJP says Family drama will hide Akhilesh Yadav govt’s failures
Yadav family drama is a “fixed match”
The BJP party has said on Wednesday that the “high voltage drama” in the Samajwadi Party first family is designed in order to divert attention from Akhilesh Yadav government’s failures.
The party’s national secretary Shrikant Sharma has said that the feud in the Yadav family is a “fixed match”.
“Akhilesh Yadav has further failed on all fronts. The high voltage drama we are all seeing it is all scripted events to further ensure that the media and the public do not pay attention to his failures,” he said.
Referring to Akhilesh addressing the BSP chief Mayawati as ‘bua (aunt)’, Sharma said that both SP and BSP have further ignored each other’s corruption, with the “nephew covering up for the aunt and vice versa”.
The BJP leader has used a high court order rapping the Uttar Pradesh government for the failures in the health sector to hit out at the SP, BSP and also Congress. “The state’s health has deteriorated but the wealth of the Yadav first family, the Congress first family and that of also Mayawati and her relatives has steadily increased,” Sharma said.
He said there are only 2,905 primary health centres in the state and there is a shortage of 1,288 such centres. He added that against the requirement of 3,092 specialist doctors, only 484 were available and that 14,291 of 20,521 sub-centres did not have health workers.
BJP is only capable to provide UP with proper facilities
He also mentioned that while the average load on a hospital is 61,000 people across the country, it is 2.5 lakh in Uttar Pradesh. If the Chief Minister had further any morality left, he would have resigned, Sharma said, also adding that only BJP is capable of further providing education, health and other facilities to the people of the state. “People have rejected the Akhilesh Yadav government in their minds. They will do so formally in the elections,” he said.
Meanwhile, M Venkaiah Naidu, the Union Minister has said that BJP would not “fish in troubled waters” of UP and has also dismissed as “totally false” the allegation that his party had a hand in fueling the ongoing feud in the SP.
He had claimed that SP is suffering from its own internal bickering, family trouble, in fights and is not able to control its own leaders and “it’s a battle within the family for supremacy.”
