Social media giant, Facebook is planning to evaluate the possibilities of investing around 10 billion in Taiwan to set up its first data – centre in Asia Pacific region.
According to report, the centre would need 6 acre land initially and eventually it will need around 20 acre lands. Though, Facebook has not made any official announcement about setting up a centre in Taiwan yet.
Google has already built its centre in Changhua country as Asia is becoming one of the biggest markets in the world.
It would be Fcebook’s first data – centre in Asia, if the company gets ready to invest.
