Acting was not Jeetu’s first choice of career, he wanted to become an aeronautical engineer
Famously known as Jeetu for playing various roles in Youtube shows and web series, Jitendra Singh has finally got his big breakthrough in Bollywood with the Ayushmann Khurrana starrer Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan. From playing a parody of Arvind Kejriwal for TVF to starring alongside Ayushmann, Jeetu Bhaiya has certainly announced his arrival in the Bollywood industry. But Jitnendra’s first choice of career was not an actor but something else. Let’s relive the journey of Jeetu who is surely the next big thing in Bollywood.

Jitendra Kumar has also fueled his career in the same way by choosing a different and difficult role in his first film. Jitendra is playing gay in a movie which focuses on same-sex marriage.

Jitendra started his career in ‘Munna Jazbaati: The Q-tiya intern’ in 2013 which became instantly viral across several social media platforms. He then went on to play different characters in different web – series of TVF (The Viral Fever) including ‘A Day With’ series, ‘Tech Conversations with Dad’, ‘TVF Bachelors’ series, Kota Factor and many others. Kota Factory was a big hit apart from the TVF videos.
His characters like ‘Gittu’ from Permanent Roommates, ‘Jitendra Maheshwari’ of web series-TVF pitchers and ‘Jeetu Bhaiya’ in Kota factory has struck a chord with the audiences, courtesy his stellar acting skills.
While he was working with TVF, he was also teaching physics to support his family. However, he didn’t want to become an actor earlier. Initially, he wanted to be an aeronautical engineer, but because he failed to make the cut, Jeetu had to settle for civil engineering.
With Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan, a new chapter to his life is beginning. The movie is a same-sex love story between two middle-class young men in a small town. It also stars Gajraj Rao and Neena Gupta in pivotal roles and is releasing today on the big screen.
