England team secured their first ever T20 whitewash victory against Pakistan at Sharjah on Monday. England’s skipper, Eoin Morgan smacked winning runs in thrilling super over.
While batting first, England scored 154 runs and set a target of 155 runs for Pakistan. In response, Pakistan was able to tie the match, with the help of 75 runs of Shoaib Malik.
In super over, Pakistan was limited to score only 3 runs, because the Yorker sent by Chris Jordan. England easily achieved their target and won the match and even series also.
Eoin Morgan said, “Handing the ball of Chris Jordan in that super over was epitomized quality of our squad”.
This victory was England’s sixth consecutive T20 success heading into the world T20 in India.
