James Bond Actor dies at 89, here are few things you need to know about him
Actor Sir Roger Moore best known for his James Bond character passed away at the age of 89. He played the famous spy in seven bonds films including Live and Let Die and A View to a Kill.
Sir Roger’s family confirmed the news on Twitter, saying he had died after “a short but brave battle with cancer.” The statement from his children read, “Thank you pops for being you, and being special to so many people.”
Notably, the actor took the character of James Bond in a more humorous direction than his predecessor Sean Connery.
He was a calm actor who could easily get out of any tricky situation with utmost ease. The final goodbye would be given to the veteran actor in a private funeral in Monaco. Notably, it was his last wish.
Apart from his historic James Bond character, Moore was also known for TV series The Persuaders and the Saint.
