Preparing for the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP president Amit Shah has asked his party’s Rajya Sabha members to adopt a Lok Sabha seat each where the BJP had previously lost.
Shah said that the RS members should care for LS seat just like the sitting MP would do. The party’s RS members have been to nurture the seat in order to seal their party’s victory.
Shah gave this directive to 52 RS MP’s from BJP at a meeting which was held on August 31. Shah along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that all the CM’s and party leaders should work overtime to make their party’s ‘good governance’ and ‘pro-poor’ agenda a success.
