India’s Longest Bridge Fires Up Political Debate Ahead Of Voting In Assam
Being largest voters of Dhubri constituency of Assam, the construction of the India’s longest bridge is the main campaign point in election politics. Additionally, it’s a huge river, which is risky too. Therefore, development of Dhubri and Meghalaya as the two states will be the impactful facts.”
The bridge has emerged as an important theme that reflects the three competitors’ candidacies. Each party can be positioned to have run the project or have been its champion, with different stories being floated on the same project.
