On Wednesday the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized the Pakistan Army Chief General Raheel Sharif’s declaration that Islamabad will continue to support the people of the Kashmir valley on “diplomatic and ethical” fronts, saying that the neighbors, which stands exposed appear to have forgotten the fact that they have lost three wars on Kashmir in history.
The BJP’s national secretary Shrikant Sharma compared the Pakistan Army to the terrorists and said that there is no difference between the comments which were made by Hafiz Saeed, Azhar Masood and now by them.
“They aim to spread violence in the valley but their tactics that were failed earlier and will be failing again. They should concentrate more on Balochistan and Gilgit, instead of paying attention to Kashmir. Their army and their government both are torturing people and the crime is increasing at an alarming rate. Human rights violations are also increasing,” Sharma told the media.
On Tuesday Sharif had described Kashmir as Pakistan’s “jugular vein”, and said that Pakistan will continue to support Kashmir.
