The issue of stray dogs has been bothering Kerala for quite some time now. The increasing number of stray dogs on the road has become a major worry for the citizens of the state as it has been causing deaths all over the state.
It was only a few days ago that an infant was mauled by stray dogs and few days before that when a 76 year old woman was killed by them.
To tackle the issue and to see what further steps are to be taken to curb it, a committee has been formed.
According to sources, “Kochi (Kerala): Justice S. Siri Jagan Committee, formed with an aim to solve the stray dog issue, to start functioning from 8th Oct 2016.”
