Dilma Rousseff has urged to all Brazilian society to help combat the spread of the deadly virus Zika, which has been linked to birth defects.
Ms. Rousseff said that national mobilization was needed to eliminate the mosquitoes that spread the virus, and has urged to help from the citizens of Brazil.
Experts have already warned that around three to four million people could be infected from Zika in the America this year. And Brazil is already the worst affected country by the Zika outbreak.
Zika can cause a form of infant brain damage, microphaly. The authorities are working hard to control the outbreak of the disease and that’s why president has urged everyone to support.
