On Tuesday, The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) criticized Hurriyat leaders for refusing to talk even after the all-party delegation members visited their house and stated that they are against the Humanity and Democracy and don’t believe in anything called Kashmiriyat.
“The statements which was made by the Home Minister Rajnath Singh proves that the separatist leaders do not believe either in constitution or in democracy. When the opposition party leader’s went to meet the Hurriyat leaders, they refused to talk, for they are against the insaniyat and Kashmiriyat and do not believe in Jamooriyat,” said the BJP leader Prem Shukla.
On Monday while addressing the media in Srinagar, Singh was highly upset with the separatists move who rejected the offer to talk and had said that their refusal to talk clearly indicates that they don’t believe in anything called ‘insaniyat, Kashmiriyat, jamuriyat’, however he also said that the doors are always open for those keen on holding a dialogue to restore normalcy in the region.
He said that the Centre and the all-party delegation is extremely serious and concerned about improving the current situation in the valley and and the restoration of normalcy.
A meeting will be held on September 7, headed by Rajnath Singh to decide the future action.
