Birthday Bash: Google turns 18 today
Celebrating Google’s 18th birthday
Birthday Bash: Google turns 18 today :- Our dear Google has turned 18 today and with this, it has officially become an adult. However, not even Google knows when it was really born, but since 2006 its birthday is celebrated on September 27th. Google is the biggest search engine, and we are so addicted to it that we can’t even imagine our life without it. Thank you Google for making us addicted to you and for making our lives so easier.
Thank you Google for bringing revolution in the world
Google was founded in 1998 by Larry Page and Sergey Brin, PhD students at Stanford University on September26.
His supervisor Terry Winograd encouraged Larry Page to find the solution on the problem of finding out web page that could give valuable information about that page.
Later Brin joined him in his idea and that research project had a nickname ‘Blackrub’ then National Science Foundation Fellowship supported them to make their idea into a successful deed which created revolution in the world.
Today Google is itself celebrating its 18th birthday via Google Doodle.
Confusion over its birthday
Google was founded in 1998 but in year 2004 Google, which was its 6th birthday the Doodle showed its birthday on September7 and the year before that showed its birthday on September8, but none of these dates showed any link to Google actual birthday. Later Google admitted in year 2013 that Google actual birth date is September27 only.
Google’s achievements and a thank you note for it
The discovery of Google has become the most powerful inventions in the world. Last year only, Google was divided into Alphabet Inc but still it’s second only to Apple in the market capitalization. The founders of Google Brin and Page are ranked as 12th and 13th in the Forbes richest person in the world.
On the occasion of its 18th Birthday, we would like thank it for so many things such as:
- More making our lives easier
- For giving lot of Gyaan, which we often require
- For making everything available in just one click
- For reducing the burden of dictionaries as now, we Google the meanings, in spite of finding them in dictionaries
