Bhuvneshwar Kumar has replaced Mohammad Shami in Asia Cup 2016. The BCCI has confirmed the need that Mohammad Shami will not be a part of Indian cricket team in Asia Cup 2016 as Shami requires little note time to recover from the Grade || injury in his left hamstring.
This is a huge setback for bowler Mohammad Shami as he hasn’t played for India since the ICC World Cup in March 2015. Due to his knee injury he had already missed the Indian Premier league, home series against South Africa.
Despite his injuries he was selected in Indian team for the Asia Cup but now he has been replaced by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and later will represent the country.
