‘Bahubali’ to be promoted by Dharma Production
Baahubali is an upcoming film directed and written by S.S.Rajamouli. This is his biggest project which has taken a good amount of time to get completed and is also considered to be the most expensive undertaking in the history of Indian cinema. This Indian epic film is produced by Shobu Yarlagadda and Prasad Devineni. The movie is originally shot in Telugu but would be released in various languages: Hindi, Malayalam, English and French.
The movie features ensemble cast of Prabhas Varma, Rana Daggubati, Anushka Shetty and Tamannah in the lead roles whereas Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj, Nassar, Adivi Sesh, Tanikella Bharani and Sudeep would be seen in pivotal roles. As per the sources, the movie in north regions would be promoted by none other than Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions.
The soundtrack for the film is composed by M.M Keeravani and is presented by K.Raghavendra Rao. The art of the film has been designed by National Award winner Sabu Cyril and the visual effects have been done by another National Award winner, V. Srinivas Mohan.
The film was shot using Arri Alexa XT Camera marking Rajamouli’s first film using digital camera and the cinematography began at Kurnool’s Rock Garden on 6 July 2013. Before the film proceeds to its audio release, a small 20 sec teaser of the movie has been released on 30 May 2015. The first part of film is expected to be released on 10 July 2015.
After 2013, it is now that Prabhas would be seen on big screens. So, let see if this project works as good as Magadheera, another project which starred Kajal Agarwal and Ram Charan Tej and saw biggest success on box office in 2009.
