After solid performance in ongoing home series against South Africa, the Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has got his career best spot from 6th position to 2nd position in ICC rankings.
On other side, South-Africa batsman AB de Villiers has lost his 1st position from ICC test ranking of batsman.
According to latest ICC rankings, published on Monday, Indian leg spinner, Amit Mishra has reached to 31st spot. After Ashwin reaches to 2nd spot, James Anderson and Yasir Shah has fall down to 3rd spot.
Steven smith and Joe Root are on top according to latest ICC batsman ranking. De Villiers can achieve his 1st spot again after doing better performance in last test match at Delhi against India that will be held between 3 to 7 December.
If India will win last test match then they can achieve second position in ICC rankings.
