A typical small time con man Irving Rosenfeld and his associate Amy Adams thriving on the fears and greed of their victims suddenly find themselves out of depth, trapped by an over ambitious FBI Agent, who himself is out of depth, and bumbles along.
How Irving and Amy get themselves out of this mess makes this story interesting. However, one of the best features of the film is the authentic 1970s treatment – in terms of props, costumes, choreography, make up, etc. so much so that you forget it has been shot recently, and not in the 70s.
All in all a good entertainer.
