# R.I.P Neeraj Vora
Actor, writer, and director Neeraj Vora best known for his work in films like Phir Phera Pheri, Akele Hum Akele Tum among others, died at a Mumbai hospital today at 3am. Notably, he was 54. According to reports, “Neeraj Vora died today at 3 am in Criti Care Hospital in Juhu.”
He had been in Coma and living in Firoz Nadiawala’s place. As per reports, when his condition deteriorated in the night, he was taken to the hospital, where he took his last breathe.
After suffering from a heart attack followed by a stroke last year, he went into a coma. Producer Firoz Nadiawala took him to his home and converted a room into Intensive care unit.
The actor will cremated today afternoon at 3 pm in Santa Cruz. He was a part of some big Bollywood projects such as Rangeela, Raju Ban Gaya Gentleman, Akele Hum Akele Tum Virasat, Mann, and Pukar. His last film as an actor was Welcome Back which was released in year 2015.
Neeraj Vora was set to direct the third installment of the hit Hera Pheri franchise. He had already begun the shooting, when he suffered the heart attack. Neeraj Vora was also known for writing the first installment of Golmaal. As a director, his most notable work was Phir Hera Pheri, the second installment of the Suniel Dutt and Akshay Kumar’s franchise.
