In the current light of situations, the Jawaharlal Nehru University has become the hot seat of debate. And hence, a visit to JNU was must. From autos refusing to go there and asking for really high price is now a common thing. Once we reached the main gate of JNU, we had to write our names in the register.
The long roads of JNU filled with greenery on all sides and blossomed flowers ,looked beautiful. Contrary to what people think right now, the campus is quite with no protests. Everyday, a talk is held at the administration block at 5pm on topics ranging from Gandhi, language of nationalism and many more.
The huge crowd that gathers here is not only of JNU students, but, also people from various other places. After attending the talk, we headed to the famous Dhabas of JNU. Good tea with muffins for just 15 rs. defines the many eating places of JNU. The naan and Afghaani chicken at the Mughal Darbar Dhaba was beyond words.
After the grand evening snack, we headed out. The atmosphere of JNU will make you think, whether you think that they are right or wrong is another matter. Visiting the place and taking the feel of the other side of the story is very important.
So, head out and experience the JNU story.
